South Shore Select Women's Development Academy

U.S. Soccer Development Academy

The DA program impacts everyday club environments by setting standards that ensure every DA player trains in a world-class environment and competes in more meaningful games.  At Select, we uphold Academy standards and maintain the best possible environments to optimize player development.

For the elite, motivated player, the Development Academy provides a pathway to develop and reach the highest levels of competition.

Select DA provides players 4 training sessions per week, which include on the field individual and team development, in the classroom education utilizing video and game analysis, and strength, agility and recovery sessions.

Ally Sentnor and Lily Reale have been working hard with the U.S. U17 National Team and are striving to make the qualifying roster that will be named later in the spring of 2020.  Both players earned All-American honors this past January at the United Soccer Coaches Convention.  Congrats to well earned national honors!

Sophie Reale and Sophie Rosas traveled to Spain with the 2004 US Youth Soccer East Region ODP team this past year.  They beat RCD Espanyol 3-2, Vilafranca FC 3-0, and Seagull CF 5-1.  Both players are on the Select 04DA squad, super proud to have them represent the Club overseas!

The player is eligible to play games within our club- outside of the DA program. The PT player consistently trains 3-4 times a week (depending on their age group) and would train with both teams throughout the season.
